Questions, answered.

Short answers about Loopline. Something else? Ask on the Support page.

  1. Is Loopline free?

Yes. It is free to download and to use, and it has no ads.

  2. Do I need an account?

No. The map, routes and Today work without one. Sign in with Apple or Google only if you want your days kept, your impact saved or to share a plan as a link. You can delete your account inside the app.

  3. Where do the fares come from?

From Transport for London. Loopline plans each journey with TfL’s own journey planner and shows the pay-as-you-go fare TfL gives for it. If TfL gives no fare, Loopline shows none. Journeys, fares and stops use TfL Open Data.

  4. Does it work outside London?

Loopline is made for London. Find It works within London, and tells you so if you are outside it.

  5. Which iPhones does it need?

Any iPhone that can run iOS 26 or later.

  6. Who makes it, and is it official?

One independent developer makes Loopline. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Transport for London or Apple.

  7. Something wrong, or a question?
