London, minus the guesswork.
Loopline is a free iPhone app that finds the places worth getting off for, plans your day in order, and shows the real TfL fare for every stop. Free. No ads. No tracking.
Open in LooplineFree on the App Store. iPhone, iOS 26 or later. What it does
Plan a day out in London by Tube, bus, train and on foot. Add the stops you fancy in any order and see what the journey costs, using Transport for London's own journey planner. If TfL gives no fare for a journey, none is shown. The app never guesses.
The library has 569 hand-picked places, each chosen by a person, not an algorithm. Every one has a practical tip, almost all have an interesting fact, and most have a photo with its credit shown.
Each leg of your day lists places close to its route that are worth stepping off for: a coffee, a view, a market, a square you would never have found from the platform.
Why it exists
Most journey apps stop at the fastest route. Loopline starts from a simple idea: the way you get somewhere in London can be part of the day, not just the cost of it. Commuters get a reason to get off one stop early. Visitors get a day that fits together.
Free, and private
It is free. There are no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and nothing is sold. The map, routes and your day plan work without an account. Your location is used only while the app is open, and the app keeps no history of where you have been.
Look around first
These pages are a public look at the library. Browse all 569 places by kind: museums, markets, parks, pubs, viewpoints and plenty of hidden gems.
Connect with the maker
Loopline is made by one independent developer, not a company. If you have feedback, found something wrong, or just want to say hello, one person reads every message.
